とても悲しいニュースが飛び込んできました。。。

In Gratitudeが解散してしまいました。。。。

彼らが先週、1月18日にFacebookに寄せた声明文を転載します。

In Gratitude 2009 - 2011

Hi All,


I'm sure this will come as a bit of a shock to some, if not most of you, but believe us when we say, this most definitely wasn't a decision we simply came to over night.


To cut a long story short...


We, In Gratitude, are calling it a day.
We won't be providing you with some long winded essay as to why we're not doing this anymore. Mainly because, that is simply not required. We're just four guys who each need to take a step back to work out where our futures lie in music.
All we can say is that we no longer see a future in In Gratitude.


We'd like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has supported us during our time together.


We've all had the best time over the last year or so. We've played some great shows, toured with some sweet bands, and more importantly... Made some amazing friends and fans. We truly can't thank you enough.


Be sure to keep your eyes peeled for future projects.

・・・アルバムを出して、そして日本に来てライブをやってくれることを楽しみに待っていましたが、残念ながら叶わぬ夢となってしまいました。
Only In Youth EP を出したばかりなのに。。
YouTubeに上がっていたMoving OnのPVやツアーの模様の映像が大分前から削除されてしまっていたけど、まさかこんな事になるなんて。。
スゴイ素敵な楽曲を作っていただけに、本当に残念で仕方がありません。

ぜひMattやDanny、AndyにMasonがこれからも音楽活動を続けてくれることを願っています。
そして、またいつかどこかで彼らの姿や音楽に出会えたらいいなと思います。
